There are quite a few productivity techniques, and one of the well-known methods is called the ‘Pomodoro Technique’. I’m not sure why it’s named after ‘pomodoro’, which means tomato in Italian, but the method involves setting a specific amount of time (usually 20 or 25 minutes) and working intensively during that period.
As it’s a relatively well-known technique, there are quite a few Pomodoro apps available. Even if they aren’t strictly Pomodoro apps, there are many productivity apps with a similar format. One app that I’ve noticed frequently on the Galaxy Store and tried out is Focus To-Do.

Focus To-Do’s main feature is undoubtedly the Pomodoro technique, but it also offers robust task management capabilities, unlike many other apps that focus solely on Pomodoro. This app allows users to set schedules and decide the duration of Pomodoro sessions for each task in great detail. In other words, it combines the functionalities of a Pomodoro timer and a task management app.
While apps like TickTick also offer both features, there aren’t many apps that integrate them as seamlessly as Focus To-Do does. This gives it a distinct advantage. While Pomodoro apps typically aim for intense focus during work sessions, Focus To-Do considers the user’s overall schedule by displaying the total planned time, thus considering the user’s comprehensive agenda.
The app has more features than I initially expected. I actually appreciate that it has a small community feature. One of the unique features is the “Focus Time Ranking,” which allows users to see how long they’ve maintained focus over the past 30 days or for the entire duration. As of writing this review, the maximum record for the past 30 days is a staggering 430 hours… At this rate, it seems like the app was just left on while eating and sleeping. For the entire period, the record is an unbelievable 29,594 hours; that’s just insane…
If someone had really studied for that long, they would have already achieved the 10,000-hour rule almost three times over. Honestly, it’s hard not to be skeptical, but I’ll leave it at that—perhaps it could be true.
There’s also a feature where you can grow a forest based on your productivity, similar to the popular Forest app. If someone has used it for around 30,000 hours, their forest must be incredibly lush. I suspect it might even be overwhelming to manage, almost like a farming game. It’s clear that various other apps have influenced this app. Of course, it’s not just copying—it’s well made and has its own unique aspects, and it’s inevitable that apps influence each other if they don’t have something as distinct as Todoist.

If you visit the site, it usually shows that there’s a discount, so it seems they are offering a constant discount. The premium version includes various additional features, and considering the cost-performance ratio, it’s definitely worth considering if you’re thinking of using this app.
Among the features, the calendar view is appealing. The productivity statistics feature is also part of the premium version. The premium version typically includes powerful features, but the cost-performance ratio is so good that it’s worth purchasing just to use this feature.

If there’s anything to be disappointed about, it might be the community features, which still seem a bit lacking. Currently, they offer just a basic “let’s do it together” function, which isn’t very advanced. Of course, it can improve in the future, so it’s not a major issue.
