Nelio Content
Nelio Content review. WordPress Social Media auto-publishing plugin with good features even for free
Of course, if you want to use WordPress properly, you must also register for searches such as Naver, but above all else, it is natural to become familiar with Google. However, if you look at various blog lectures, etc., posting on social media is as important as Google.
Of course, it doesn’t have that much effect in Korea, but if you use WordPress properly, you can say that Social Media is more important because it seems that you will be running a blog for people all over the world rather than targeting only Koreans. For example, I don’t use Twitter that much in Korea, but I still use it to some extent in other countries. Facebook is still quite popular in foreign countries.
So, perhaps for that reason, among WordPress plugins, there are quite a few plugins that automatically publish posts to Social Media when WordPress automatically publishes posts. Of course, Jetpack, the official WordPress plugin, also has this feature, but when I used it for a while, it provided only a really basic level of functionality. It is by no means a level to be used in earnest.
So I searched for and tried various plugins on my own, but eventually I turned around and am using this plugin now. That’s Nelio Content. Official website, WordPress plugin page

Nelio Content doesn’t have any special features, but it’s basically good
As I mentioned earlier, I went back and forth between several plugins and now I have settled on this Nelio Content, but in fact, these types of plugins all have similar features. First of all, the core function is the aforementioned Auto-Publish function that automatically publishes the article on Twitter or Facebook when you publish it on WordPress. Up to this point, all of my free friends usually have it, and here the paid version usually re-uploads old posts on specific days or has various statistical functions, and so on.
However, since most plug-ins all have similar and similar performance, I think the conditions for selecting a good plug-in from among them depend on how well the following are satisfied.
- Supports multiple social media (Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc.)
- You are free to edit the content when posting on social media
- There is at least one additional function such as statistics.
- interface is clean
- cheap
- come back stable
There are so many of them… Let’s look at them one by one.
Conditions of a good WordPress Social Media auto-publishing plugin
Although it is recommended to run a blog for the whole world in terms of the structure of WordPress, it seems that you will mainly use Korean unless the blog itself is made in English. Then, Koreans are probably the most popular bloggers, right? If that’s the case, even if only Facebook and Twitter are supported for Social Media, it is enough for now.
Instagram here?? There may be people who do, but blogs and Instagram are a bit inconsistent. Blogs are cancerous, but they tend to contain a lot of articles. That is why there are quite a few famous foreign bloggers who do not run Instagram. Of course, this part may also be an exception if you mainly post photos.
For reference, the Social Media supported by nelio content are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Reddit, Instagram, and Tumblr. This is by no means bad. There are some that support a lot more services, but that’s enough for the basics.
And among the features of these kinds of plugins, the most important thing I see is the form of posting on Social Media. It can be said that it is best to come out as shown in the screenshot below, but when I used a jetpack for a while in the past, the thumbnails didn’t come out like this. As the thumbnail is emphasized, a link is automatically inserted in the thumbnail, so you can jump to the post just by pressing the thumbnail… This should appear, but this part doesn’t work. I don’t know if it has improved these days.
And the statistics function is a bit lacking personally, so I don’t use it often. Because the statistics functions supported by auto-publish related plugins are mainly limited to Social Media inflows, and it seems to be caught in statistics in many cases. Not sure, but I’m guessing.
As a result, the statistics function of this plugin doesn’t really mean much to my blog. Most of my blogs come from direct searches.
One of the important differentiators of nelio content is the ability to check the content quality . The only disappointment is that this standard is pretty tight, so I usually score in the late 80s to early 90s based on Rank Math , which is the SEO plugin I mainly use. However, I’ve never scored a high score on this Nelio Content Tools… Still, as I write this now, I’m glad I got a decent score.
The interface of nelio content is pretty decent. Actually, it’s not that good, but I have quite a few friends with a bad interface for WordPress plugins… It means that among those WordPress plugins, it’s on the good side. Therefore, it is not inconvenient to use. And it works well with the block editor, so that part is good.
Nelio Content has some downsides, but it’s definitely a good guy.
The paid version of Nelio Content is rather expensive. It used to be very expensive, but because of my review, it has become a little cheaper. The price is about $9 per month on an annual basis, so it is definitely on the expensive side, but those who use it properly can afford it.
There are many similar services among WordPress plugins, and in fact, this friend is not the most famous. I also used another friend in the past, but he came back because he lacked safety. And to this day, I am quite satisfied with it. In the future, if I earn some income from my blog, I think it would be good to use the paid version.
