Super Duolingo
Super Duolingo review. Is it a good choice if you want to use Duolingo for a long time?

It is true that some good features are added as a paid version.
However, the thought “Is it that good?”…
The biggest feature of Super Duolingo is that your ‘heart’ becomes unlimited. Duolingo tends to make errors on subtle things like ‘a’ and ‘the’ (or in Spanish, ‘el,’ for example), and each time you make a mistake, your health decreases. To replenish it, you have to wait for four hours unless you watch ads. It can be quite cumbersome. Furthermore, if you make many mistakes during your studies, causing your heart to deplete completely, it results in the same outcome as if you had quit studying mid-session. In other words, it is the same as not being able to study that day. Of course, if you use Duolingo occasionally, this won’t matter too much. However, since I have been playing Duolingo for over 300 days in a row, there are some errors (?). I’ve felt the pressure to clear the course at once because I ran out of stamina…
Also, the ads disappear, but it’s not Netflix, it’s a paid version, and the ads shouldn’t be the same… Duolingo tends to have some ads, but it’s not a lot of ads or dirty ads. They appear to a moderate extent, usually at the end of your study sessions. Of course, some people may find even that inconvenient, but Duolingo, in my opinion, offers a good value for its basic free version. Rather, the free version has better cost performance, so the merits of the paid version are a little less…
The added feature in terms of study is the degree of deep review. It allows you to do additional review beyond the regular course. In reality, there isn’t much of a difference. Nevertheless, it seems to have some significance as users can focus on particularly weak areas for study. However, I haven’t used it for a few days, so I haven’t really noticed its effects significantly…

Super Duolingo is a good choice if you want to study with Duolingo for a long time.
However, the value for money is poor…
As mentioned before, Duolingo has a system called ‘heart’, so it is difficult to use Duolingo for that long a day unless you get all the problems right. So, for those who want to study for a while through Duolingo, Super Duolingo is worthwhile.
But it is quite expensive… If you pay with an annual subscription, it’s a price of almost $100 USD. They do offer some discounts at the end of the year, but even then, the price is relatively high compared to other language learning apps. Perhaps it’s somewhat paradoxical that the paid version feels more expensive, given the many features available for free, which is honestly a bit disappointing. I heard that Duolingo is going to incorporate some kind of AI, but it seems that it is not yet, and it seems to be developing something related, but at that time, the value of the paid version will increase a lot. But not yet, not yet…
Super Duolingo Summary
Good point
- If you want to make Duolingo long, halfway is a must.
- There are definitely additional elements.
- It might be better if it is grafted with AI in the future…
Disappointing point
- Not good value for money…
- To be honest, I don’t see much of an advantage yet.
