Grammarly
Grammarly review. Very useful and good grammar correction app!
There are a lot of English grammar correction programs. Some well-known friends are Prowritingaid and Grammarly, which I will explain now. Of the two, Grammarly is honestly the most recognized and popular. And when I actually tried it, I could see why.
- For the convenience of explanation throughout this post, there are many parts compared to ProwritingAid. Please pay some attention to this part.

Grammarly is pretty neat overall. A level is comparable to writing apps.
Grammarly grammar checker is an English grammar correction app, but it has a cleaner interface than most writing apps. Overall, very concise. There is space for writing on the left side, a section at the bottom for simple formatting, and the right side of the screen shows the grammar score for a few sentences. Roughly this is a few points in total, and there are some things to fix. It’s roughly like this.
Prowritingaid is more detailed, but the interface is not very good, and I felt that the screen was wasting space for nothing, whereas Grammarly had an appropriate editor width and was good for readability, so rather than wasting space, I thought that the margins were reasonable. It’s about these.
And since most people just use this grammar correction software to determine whether there are errors in the sentences I wrote, Grammarly, which simply states that this much is wrong, is judged to be more appropriate to use. Instead, prowritingaid has detailed explanations and I feel that some parts are pointed out one by one, such as why it is better to write in this way for some reason, so I feel like it would be nice to study English someday.
In terms of school, you can see the difference between a teacher who only explains the key points and a teacher who is somewhat boring but points out everything one by one. Both of them would be capable teachers, but honestly, the former would be a more popular teacher.
Grammarly is a very good value-for-money tool.
Grammarly pricing is expensive but the main feature is free.
Even with the free version of Grammarly, there is no problem with moderate use. I remember that it was written like this on the official website in the past, correcting 96% of the grammar. And in the paid version, it was written like this to correct 98 percent of the grammar. I went into the site and tried to find that part, but I couldn’t find it…
Anyway, there are enough users, so simple use is free, but for those who write more in-depth or more professionally, or who can’t tolerate even a little error It seems that it is judged that it is okay to do business using the paid version. Well, that’s a good thing for us. That’s why I like it in almost every aspect, from performance to cost performance.
They also offer discounts quite often. 40 percent, 45 percent, rarely 50 percent discount, sometimes not percent, but 50 dollar discount. I haven’t used the paid version yet, but probably, like most apps, I give a discount only for the first year, and from the next year, I will pay the original price. If discounted, it is about 50 dollars a year, and if you are an office worker, I think you can spend it without too much trouble.
Grammarly also works well on smartphones. But Android…
Grammarly for Chrome is the most common I think.
The smartphone app version of Grammarly is also pretty good. The app didn’t exist in the first place. At first, it started as a rather modest(?) keyboard app and later released the full version of Grammarly. The interface is still very clean, and document organization is better than the desktop. Considering that Prowritingaid is almost unusable in a mobile environment, I think it is much better. However, Android still only has a keyboard app and no official version. when the hell…
Of course, it can be used in Word, etc., and web extensions are of course supported. Especially the web part is better because it officially supports Safari without extensions and Firefox without extensions which are better than expected.
Depending on the person, the level that can be used enough as an editor app
Personally, if this app had a little more document management function, it would be more than a decent writing app. However, to what extent is it faithful to the original (?) It is a way to load and use the document a little simpler.
Of course, Word and Google documents are also like this, so it’s not that bad or anything like that, but personally, if it was a way to use documents like Evernote quickly, I was a bit disappointed that I would have used it as my main focus. Of course, this is my taste and opinion, and quite a few people probably use this friend as a writing app.
It’s not that there are a lot of users for no reason. Except for the highly minor flaws, there are no flaws at all…
If you regret it, the unfortunate thing is that after I newly installed this friend, I didn’t do that before, but there is such a minor hassle that I have to log in from a web browser from some time. I reinstalled it in my own way, but seeing that it doesn’t work, I wonder if the login method has changed or if my computer is strange…
Another thing I regret is whether there is no update history or no update, at least the desktop version is a bit slow to update. Other than this, there is nothing lacking except for personal taste. It’s not that the app is slow, but there’s a reason why it’s popular.
In fact, these days, there are Microsoft editors and many grammar correction software and apps. Even though there are quite a lot of related services, it seems to be an easy field to jump into subtly as new ones continue to emerge. Moreover, Microsoft is the world’s largest corporation… Of course, it’s not as good as you might think; but still, it’s definitely good enough. However, personally, the PC version is really bad… I will write more about this later.
Grammarly Cleanup

Disappointing point
- The desktop version is terrible
- Updates aren’t that fast
- The Android version is not out yet…
